"My imagination runs wild when it comes to planning events and I want to help you create the entertainment you've always dreamed of. Over a decade ago, I realized there was a shortage of innovative high quality entertainment in the private event industry. As a truly passionate artist, I wanted to bring people something new and fresh. And, I also wanted to work with clients directly to plan, choreograph, and execute the perfect night of entertainment with a hands on approach. When you work with Oncue, you're talking directly to the performers with years of experience in the field who will guide you on how to create the ultimate entertainment experience. I love bringing people together with making your musical entertainment the best it can be".

Imagine...strolling electric strings rocking the greatest hits of all time. A rustic instrumental ensemble playing your favorite 90's and top 40 hits with a folky twist. Wow your guests with performers elevated on LED boxes or design amazing costumes to suit your event theme. Did we mention our string ladies dressed as jungle animals or birds? Dance the night away with our amazing bands that won't stop until you drop or kick back and let the soothing sounds of bluegrass wash your cares away. We like to think outside the box and bring you the most creative, stunning, high quality performances in the entertainment industry.

We work with passionate highly trained musicians and sound engineers to bring you music that sounds amazing! Our musicians have performed with Trans Siberian Orchestra, Il Divo, il Volo, Kanye West, Rod Stewart, Mannheim Steamroller, Evanescence, Disturbed, 2Cellos, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Michael Buble  and many more. Players perform regularly with Denver's top ensembles such as the Colorado Symphony, Opera CO, Central City Opera, CO Symphony, Boulder Philharmonic, CO Ballet, and CO Springs Philharmonic.

Hi! I'm Brett, the creator of Oncue Entertainment. I live for unique entertainment, great sound, visually stunning productions, and creating entertainment opportunities for passionate musicians. I have been playing the violin for over 30 years! and have played just about every style of music including writing original music of my own. I attribute my success as a musician to wearing many musical hats and learning to play in just about every style on the planet!  

 

Over a decade ago, I decided the wedding & private event industry was in need of some new innovative entertainment. Creative and passionate performances of the highest quality that leave people talking. So I combined my creative streak with my intense perfectionistic drive and created Oncue. A company run by artists with the highest standards of musicianship, innovation, and passion for creating great entertainment!

I love my job as a musician for so many reasons. Music has the incredible ability to uplift, inspire, and bring people together. It is a universal language and has allowed me to connect with so many amazing people around the world. I am also grateful to be able to heal people, provide great entertainment for events, and work with so many wonderful artists in the industry.

  • Weird or funny gig played: I once played a “Fiddler on the Roof” gig in the dark in December. I don't think any of the guests knew I was up there and it was cold! Teaching and doubling for Jessica Alba in the horror film "The Eye".  

  • Hobbies: Bird photography, writing original music, gardening, urban farming, cooking.

  • Favorite Food: Veggie dishes from my garden, craft coffee. 

  • Favorite places I’ve performed: Castillo de Chapultepec Mexico, Red Rocks Colorado, outdoor summer festivals.  

  • Famous artists I've worked with: 2Cellos, Michael Buble, Jessica Alba, Itzhak Perlman, Josh Groban, Rod Stewart, Evanescense, Kanye West, Kygo, Il Divo. 

  • Favorite Concert attended: Muse, Mexico City or The National at Red Rocks in the snow.

Anna Morris

Wedding Specialist . Coordinator . Violinist

Hi, I’m Anna, the wedding and event coordinator for Oncue Entertainment. I grew up surrounded by all different kinds of music and have played violin for over 26 years. One of my favorite things about working as a musician is the privilege of doing something I love and spreading that joy to the people I perform for. Coordinating and creating music for events essentially creates the soundtrack to people’s special moments, and I feel incredibly honored to be a part of that. Organizing has always been my way of making sense out of the world and finding a way to create a little more peace amongst the chaos of life. When I am organizing something I am in my element, and everything feels right with the world.
